Alyssa Ogi is an Editor at Zando & Tin House, acquiring literary fiction, poetry, and select literary nonfiction. She gravitates toward language-driven work set in lesser-known geographies and is especially drawn to writing that balances wit, tenderness, and innovation amid complex subject matter.
Alyssa is committed to championing debut BIPOC and LGBTQ+ authors and writers from historically excluded communities. Her titles have been longlisted for the Booker Prize and the National Book Awards; finalists for the National Book Critics Circle Awards, Center for Fiction First Novel Prize, NAACP Image Awards, and the Carnegie Medal for Fiction; and winners of the Lambda Literary, Publishing Triangle, and Whiting Awards, among other national accolades.
