Publishing scams and impersonation attempts are increasingly common and often appear professional. Scammers may use real names, copied biographies, lookalike email addresses, and urgent or flattering messages to seem credible.
Please use caution with unexpected outreach, especially if it involves pressure to act quickly, requests for payment, personal email accounts, or instructions to move the conversation outside normal channels.
Before responding:
- Confirm that the sender’s email address exactly matches the official domain
- Be cautious of communications from personal email accounts
- Do not send money, personal information, manuscripts, or signed documents without verifying the sender independently
- If a message seems unusual, confirm it using contact information obtained separately
- Take your time; urgency can be a warning sign
Zando conducts business through official Zando email accounts. If you receive a message claiming to be from Zando from another account, please verify it independently before responding.
Please do not submit unsolicited manuscripts.
