Marina Padakis Lowry joined Zando with two decades of experience overseeing editorial operations, production, and manufacturing across major publishing houses. At Zando, she leads managing editorial, production editorial, manufacturing, and publishing operations, aligning creative ambition with operational precision.
Most recently, Marina was Executive Managing Editor at Union Square & Co., the publishing arm of Barnes & Noble. She has previously held roles at HMH Books & Media, HarperCollins, Oxford University Press UK, Penguin Random House, and Scholastic, working across a wide range of authors, brands, and series including Martha Stewart, Jacques Pépin, Joni Mitchell, Mark Bittman, Mo Willems, Dav Pilkey, and Harry Potter.
Marina brings deep experience shepherding complex publishing programs through production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency at scale. She also serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors of Eagle Island, Inc., supporting youth leadership and empowerment initiatives.
