Jennifer Chung joined Zando with more than two decades of experience advising media, technology, and publishing companies through periods of growth and transformation. Most recently, she served as Vice President & Counsel at Simon & Schuster following its acquisition by KKR, where she advised senior leadership and global publishing teams across the UK, EU, India, and Australia on commercial strategy, IP, data privacy, and emerging technology initiatives.
Previously, Jennifer was General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer at AccuWeather, advising on corporate governance, product strategy, and data-driven operations. Earlier in her career, she held senior legal roles at Time Inc. and Verizon, supporting global media brands navigating complex regulatory environments.
At Zando, Jennifer oversees legal strategy, aligning innovation and growth with thoughtful governance. She also teaches media and IP law at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering, bringing a creator-focused perspective to the intersection of content, technology, and law. She holds a JD, an LL.M. in Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Law, and an MBA from IESE Business School.
