Hayley Wagreich is Director of Original Development and Co-Director of Slowburn, Zando’s romance imprint. Her acquisitions include New York Times Bestselling series such as Brynne Weaver’s Ruinous Love and Seasons of Carnage trilogies, Navessa Allen’s Into Darkness series, and Becka Mack’s Playing for Keeps.
Hayley also leads Zando Projects, a program focused on developing original books in collaboration with media partners and exploring stories across formats and platforms. Previously, she was Head of Content at Realm, where she oversaw Audie and Webby Award–winning scripted podcast development. Earlier in her career, she was an editor at Alloy Entertainment and Disney Hyperion, shepherding multiple New York Times Bestsellers and award winners, including National Book Award finalist American Street and Printz Honor book Code Name Verity. She has also co-developed deals with Marvel, DC, Orphan Black, The Vampire Diaries, and the world of John Carpenter.
At Zando, Hayley focuses on building commercial franchises with cultural reach and long-term storytelling potential.
