Alicia Kroell
Senior Editor
Alicia Kroell is a Senior Editor at Zando, acquiring stylish, voice-driven literary and high-concept fiction. They are especially drawn to novels that experiment with genre, structure, and language to capture the complexities of contemporary life, with a particular affinity for absurd humor, visceral prose, queer narratives, and unconventional storytelling.
Before joining Zando in 2025, Alicia spent more than seven years at Catapult, where they published books by Jokha Alharthi, Chloe Aridjis, Mac Crane, Davey Davis, Ruth Madievsky, and Amanda Peters. At Zando, Alicia seeks bold, formally inventive work that pushes literary boundaries while remaining deeply human.
