Marketing Manager/Senior Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:  

Zando is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Manager to lead excellent title marketing campaigns with a focus on fiction publishing, especially our romance imprint Slowburn. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Marketing, you will be the executional force behind each campaign, communicating each title’s strategy to internal stakeholders, external partners, authors, and retailers. You are someone who works well both independently and with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Editorial, Publicity, Sales, etc.), and is comfortable collaborating with creative partners (content creators, authors, celebrities) to produce quality work. 

You will:

  • Own title marketing for 10–12 titles per year including creative strategy and the marketing plan for each campaign
  • Manage the creation of assets by liaising with in-house graphic designer and social media managers
  • Lead and optimize digital advertising campaigns including Meta and AMS 
  • Organize influencer outreach
  • Create bespoke merchandise items as necessary to support campaign execution
  • Oversee title marketing organizational processes including sales conference prep and seasonal planning
  • Ensure all deadlines are met for each title and own updating internal systems
  • Support sales on marketing materials including designed digital and print assets 
  • Establish KPIs and regularly report on key metrics 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in a Marketing role, ideally within media or book publishing
  • Proven ability to create effective integrated campaigns that prioritize out-of-the-box thinking
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Google Drive
  • Genuine interest in literature and connecting with readers

Salary: $70-80K, depending on experience
