Marketing Coordinator
Zando, a nimble independent publisher, is looking for an experienced candidate to execute title marketing campaigns. This is a full-time position based in New York, NY. Zando offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
Zando is seeking an ambitious Marketing Coordinator to support the team in an administrative capacity across title marketing, social media, and community management. You are someone who works well both independently and with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Editorial, Publicity, Sales, etc.), and can balance several projects at once. The position will report to the Executive Director of Marketing, with a dotted line to the Director of Social Media.
You will:
- Support execution of key marketing activities including indie bookstore outreach, asset design, influencer management, and merch creation with vendors
- Support day-to-day posting and produce social content (Canva design, iPhone photography, video editing)
- Manage NetGalley and Goodreads for select title campaigns
- Manage daily community engagement and monitor social inboxes
- Maintain weekly updates to Linktree, ARC request forms, and social giveaway outreach/fulfillment across all imprints
- Synthesize and post weekly media hits to Instagram Stories and the Zando website
- Compile monthly social metrics and update the social calendar quarterly using title tracker and change reports
- Manage internal calendars for title marketing
- Manage marketing expenses including invoices and budget trackers
- Liaise with legal team on marketing contracts for subscriptions, sweepstakes, and influencers
- Update campaign trackers and galley trackers in coordination with Publicity and Sales
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in a Marketing role, with a preference for book publishing experience
- Active interest in social media trends, brand partnerships, and the publishing marketplace
- Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
