ZANDO ANNOUNCES RESIDENCY AT NEW YORK’S SALMAGUNDI CLUB
New York, NY (February 5, 2026) — Zando, the innovative independent publisher known for its partnerships with high-profile cultural figures and organizations to champion bold, diverse new voices, is pleased to announce a new partnership with New York City’s Salmagundi Club aimed at bringing books to life in one of the city’s most historically vibrant and artistic settings.
Zando plans a yearlong series of events taking place in Salmagundi’s historic brownstone, located at Fifth Avenue between Eleventh and Twelfth Streets in Manhattan. The programming will encompass both private and public-facing events throughout the year, each centering on one of Zando’s imprints like Slowburn, SJP Lit, Tin House, and more. From author launch parties to media and influencer gatherings to public book talks, these events will all aim to recapture and reinvent the tradition of 19th-century cultural salons—a space for art, books, ideas, and conversation.
Further details on public programming will be announced at a later date.
